Testing my skills

This Edmund has a problem with his glasses so i went back and corrected that as you can see underneath. The problem I had was that I started with a cube which was not as effective as the second Edmund that I used a polygon torus:-

I know this is a basic character but I wanted to see what he would look like in 3D. It helped me because I could see how much of the sculpting in maya that I had remembered.

This is my design that  i went and created  in maya.

I went and animated it so you could see him at all angles.

I've been researching Dobby from the film Harry Potter. Below are some of the reference guides that i might use in my final piece.

More character design

 I thought because i needed more detail in my characters i would try and put Al-ian in matrix clothing. I think the long coat would be a challenge to make into a £d model.

I thought that a robot could be a good character because its a comical character. I draw a few body's and heads before settling  down on one character.

This is the robot character I have chosen as well as Al-ian.

Character Design

This character is Edmund his a character that i made from a while ago. His based on the movie Minons but his not yellow his orange. Ive choose this character because i think he would look really good in 3D. In these sketches you can see him in different outfits.

This character is Al-ien his purple and has green eyes. This character is my logo on social media and youtube. There is sid at the bottom, a basic character that would i think also look good in 3D.

These picture i have been looking at Jack out of the Nightmare before Christmas. I like this character because he has a thin body and really thin arms and legs. I did try and put Edmund into his body. I know that Jack is a stop motion character but i do think if i use bits of him and tie them together with a different head. He would make a good 3D character.
